INSIDE-OUT
3 Piece Rock and Blues Covers Band

An Introduction to Inside-Out

Back in Feb 2009 after several discussions Scott and Jon decided it was time to form the band they had always aspired to. Both had been in a variety of bands but wanted to get back to basics and try a 3 piece set up and cover the best Rock and Blues tunes.

Influences came from Hendrix, ZZ Top, Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore and Free to name only a few. Other artists that will be covered include Pat Travers, Santana, AC/DC as well as a few more recent artists.

All that was needed then was a bass player, luckily a well placed advert was quickly responded to by several keen bassists. Tom was first on the list, after his audition it was clear that he was the man for the job, not only a great player but a quick sense of humour that fitted straight in. Sorry to the others, but we had got our man and on Weds 15th April 2009 Inside-Out was officially formed.

Our local Landlord Dave, who is a keen supporter of live music, kindly gave us an opportunity to practice in his partner's Pottery classroom (Thanks Sally), well, if the band didn't work out we could always try pottery!

The Band are:

Scott Wilson: Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals.

A well travelled guitarist who has been in a number of successful bands in Kent, Hampshire and Somerset, locally he was in a local acoustic duo called "scratch and Sniff", but if the weather is good he's off on his motorbike.

Tom Kemp: Bass

A very experienced player who has been in the local music scene in several accomplished bands including Al Karnos Army and The Abante Brothers. He has also played with Bernie Marsden, in the early days as well as Freeway Jam and Syd Twynham. Also a keen two wheel demon.

Jon Coleman: Drums and backing vocals.

Formally of "Mr Wilsons Wig" (Nothing to do with Scott!!), Blu Gnu, Brassed Off and Uninvited as well as appearances with 3 Way Spliff and Ian Bramble (And the Banned). And yes that does say backing vocals.........
When he's not drumming he's often scuba diving or golfing.
